Cutting Lincolnshire’s Carbon CLiC

Lincolnshire County Council and associated partners will be producing regular supplements in the Lincolnshire Echo to communicate with local people and businesses on sustainability issues.  They will provide advice and information covering a variety of themes and we want you to get involved through the CLiC Challenge.

Each month we will challenge individuals, workplaces and community groups to make a difference to something in their lives.  This month we are talking about waste.

Will you sign up to:

Buying products with less packaging (for instance loose fruit and veg, leaving clothes hangers for re-use at the shop)

Using waste materials again (plastic tubs for storage, ribbon and other decorations for craft materials)

Composting uncooked food scraps and peelings (click here for more details http://www.recyclenow.com/home_composting/index.html )

Recycling a material which you have found hard to in the past (orange juice cartons, batteries)
