Welcome to the fourth EPIC Lincolnshire Update

With Copenhagen edging ever closer we all hope that measurable international progress will be made. Meanwhile the profile of www.epic-lincolshire.org continues to strengthen with over 71,000 Google hits and 26,000 page downloads so far in October. Increasing the profile will promote information exchange and networking across the adaptation and mitigation themes of the climate change debate so many thanks to those who helped with last month’s viral experiment. For those that didn’t we still need to spread the word. Would you, between now and the next update on November 25th, consider putting a small note on the bottom of any emails you send out as follows:

WHY NOT VISIT & SIGN UP AT THE NEW LINCOLNSHIRE CLIMATE CHANGE WEBSITE AT www.epic-lincolnshire.org

You can do it as a signature on Outlook by going to:
Tools, then Options, then Mail Format, choose Signatures. Then copy and paste the above into the signature box as a new signature or to adapt an existing signature.

The events calendar for the next few months is filling up and this newsletter features two important Lincolnshire events due to take place in November. The UK Climate Projections event on 12th November at the Lincoln Drill Hall examines the possible challenges for Lincolnshire’s coastline from sea level rises. The Low Carbon Business Networks first event on Building and living with Bio-renewables will be taking place at the EPIC Centre on November 24th. Book early as places are limited at both events.

Don’t forget this is a website for all and we are very keen to hear of any events that you want to promote, or have organised and would like to share the results. Just send the information to editor@epic-lincolnshire.org
